DEW BAD WARRIOR-GANJE

Dew Bad Warrior-Ganje, CEO and Owner of Zuya Sica Consulting, is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and has extensive experience working with Tribal Governments through national initiatives such as the U.S. Census, 105I programs, and other large-scale learning campaigns. Her work with the Bureau of Indian Affairs deepened her understanding of Tribal–Federal Government relations and how they directly impact communities. Grounded in grassroots efforts and trusted community relationships, Dew brings valuable insight into the true needs of the people she serves.

Her career reflects a strong ability to build and sustain networks that foster collaboration and progress. Dew has served as Project Manager for the South Dakota Native Tourism Alliance in partnership with George Washington University, advancing opportunities for Native-led tourism development, economic development, and cultural storytelling. She also contributes to Zuya Sica Ranch, supporting marketing, agritourism, and food sovereignty initiatives, and is an experienced event planner and facilitator, leading grassroots conversations, community capacity building, and engagement efforts.

With more than fifteen years of experience in project management, planning, and community engagement, Dew is recognized as an expert connector who helps expand and accelerate her clients’ work. Her approach is guided by connection, collaboration, and joy—seeing every project as an opportunity to bring people together, create meaning, and strengthen relationships that benefit both communities and organizations.

Ben is from Eagle Butte, SD, located on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. Raised in a small, hardworking family, he grew up with a strong sense of civic duty, spending much of his free time volunteering in community events and public projects. His family instilled in him the belief that everyone has a responsibility to serve the community and leave it better for future generations.

Guided by these values, Ben has dedicated his professional career to public service and the advancement of community safety, health, and well-being. He has extensive experience working across Federal, Tribal, State, and local governments, giving him a deep understanding of navigating diverse governmental systems and driving effective progress in collaboration with public entities.

Currently, Ben and his wife operate their own consulting company, applying their expertise to serve communities in innovative and efficient ways, while continuing their commitment to meaningful public service.

In addition, Ben served as Facilities Director for the Great Plains Region at Indian Health Services (IHS), where he oversaw operations, maintenance, and strategic planning for health facilities across multiple Tribal communities. In this role, he ensured safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare environments while collaborating closely with Tribal leadership and federal agencies to address the unique needs of Native communities.

Ben has particular expertise with Section 105I programs, helping Tribal communities leverage federal resources to foster sustainable economic development. Through this work, he has supported Tribes in creating projects that generate jobs, strengthen local economies, and advance long-term community self-sufficiency.
